Star Grip Air Installation Nozzle
Already have an air compressor and an air gun? This grip installation nozzle can be attached to any air gun (with a standard 1/8" nozzle thread) for quick tapeless installation and removal of Star grips.
We do not guarantee that this nozzle will work with any other brand of grips, it was designed specifically for our grips. Most grips on the market will not stay in place without double-sided tape, and almost all of them will explode when trying to remove them if they were installed with tape.
**THIS IS THE NOZZLE ONLY, IT DOES NOT INCLUDE THE GUN. IF YOU NEED THE ENTIRE ASSEMBLY WITH THE AIR GUN CLICK HERE**
Star Grip pioneered the tapeless grip installation method over 30 years ago. It's quick, simple, neat, and allows the club to be used immediately with no drying time! What makes our grips the perfect fit for tapeless installation is that we use the highest rubber content of any grip on the market, which allows for extreme elasticity with no risk of stretching or tearing. You can install the grips over old tape, on build up tape, or directly on the bare shaft. It's also environmentally friendly as you are avoiding harmful solvents, and it takes less than 10 seconds! For those of you who prefer the “old school” tape & solvent method, you can do that as well.
This tool and not having to use mineral spirits is.
Like a whole nee way of doing things. Not having to buy two way tape is cost saving.Great product!
The install was easy and the grips are tacky as advertised. So far so good. Loved not having to use grip tape and solvent.
Great tool. Makes is super easy to re-grip clubs without the need for tape or solvents
Learning process necessary to use the tool to start the grip on the shaft. I did install all the Star grips without tape and they are firmly on the shaft after 8 rounds of golf.
Putting the “star grips” on with air gun and the “star grip air nozzle” was a breeze (no pun intended). I will admit that I was a bit worried about the grips twisting or coming off due to not using tape. After several rounds of play, the grips look and feel the same as the day I installed them. How easy this will be in the future when all I need to do is replace one or two grips.
