I am a huge fan of Star Grips and have Classic Wrap on my clubs for years. I just regripped my daughter's clubs and put the same on hers (Classic Wrap undersize Red). They look incredible and she loves the feel of them. This is the first time I used air to install them. Very simple and wish I had been doing it for a while.
I am just getting back into playing again and my putter grip was shot. After a quick Google search I found Star Grip and am very pleased with my purchase! The grip has a nice feel to it and went on as expected. I'll definitely be back.
Star golf grips are very comfortable and the perfect amount of tackiness. I do not wear a golf glove and require a grip that does not slip in my swing and does not tear up my hands. The grips are great looking and very durable.
The mid size grips went on easy and feel great in the hand. I did stretch them a little bit on install because they were a bit shorter than my previous grips. I’ve played 2 rounds with them so far and have zero complaints. Looking forward to playing them again.
I am thrilled with these grips. I purchased the standard-size grips and build-up tape and used 5 layers of tape to end up with a midsize grip. I've golfed with them a handful of times since regripping all of my irons and woods and they have performed as well as I had hoped. I would recommend these grips to anyone who likes the feel of a firmer, tackier golf grip.
I have used my Star Grips for about a month now. They have been fantastic in wet conditions or with sweaty hands. I have always been a cord player for that reason but wanted to try something different as the new cord grips get slick very quickly compared to the old versions I remember. I also used air to install after regripping the conventional way for 15 years. It took a few minutes to get the feel for it, but I don't ever see myself going back. The price is good and I like being able to buy a product that is made in USA as well.
This takes an easy touch. Don’t be in a hurry until you have used it a few times.
But after a few grips this gun works great!!! So much easier than solvent.

No double face tape needed with Star Grips. And I am finding out with Lamkin and Golf Pride as well.

First off, I love the air install. I personally still used build up tape, and I would highly recommend the star grip build up tape over masking tape, because for some reason it’s way easier to apply without making folds and wrinkles.
It’s a bit hard to describe why these grips are so great, but I’ll try - they’re not hard, but they’re also not soft. They’re tacky, but they’re not too tacky. They look plain, but not boring (especially with the color options.) I’ve tried 4 different grips so far this season, and I’ve found my winner!
(4.5/5) Ordered 2 SW360 Md in Red for my wedges to test out. Softer and smoother than I anticipated, not necessarily a bad thing. Arrived quick and I installed like normal with tape. I’m on a new grip journey and these work pretty well. Only fault was that the grips reeked of solvent out of the mailer. Not sure if that’s the normal smell of the rubber compound or what but it was notable. Rating doesn’t allow it but I give them 4.5/5
This isn't my first purchase. I bought a new Utility Iron and I needed a grip for it. As per usual, Star shipped quickly, the installation took about 4 seconds, and I'm a happy customer.
Ok, I admit it, I’m a golf nerd. A 70yo golf nerd that tinkers with my equipment, works on my friends equipment & a few loyal customers. This grip will get compared to a GP tour velvet but it’s better. The compound of the “rubber” stays tackier and the ability to use air to install & UNINSTALL
Makes modifying the grip size so easy.

I ordered a set of the jumbo grips. Positives……The texture was good, soft and tacky with good feel. Easy to install with the air gun. Negative ……for jumbo grips they are on the small side, more like other manufacturers midsize. They are also short, I have large hands and they are considerably shorter than others. Not for me….
I purchased installation gun to use in installking midsize MCC+4 GolfPride grips. It worked perfectly and made installation way easier than using some of the multipurpose attachments you can buy at a Home Depo/Lowes. Did not try it on GolfPride jumbo size grip, but I think it would fit one of those as well. I did try it on a JumboMax XL grip and that grip was too large not just for the installation gun but also my hands. Star also included one of their standard size grips with the purchase and I really liked the grip, but it was a little small for me.
I had a tough time installing my grips with the air nozzle. I will get bubbles as I would install it onto my golf shaft. I end up having to use solvent

Really like the Star grips. Tacky and feel good. Tour wrap style is nice. Will continue using and highly recommend.
Nozzle worked great, fit on to one of my existing air guns fine. The fit on non Star Grips was difficult as the hole was not as big but solved it with a drill to enlarge the hole. Will continue regrouping with this method as it worked great, no tape or solvent!!
Had a bit of trouble getting the first one on(make sure you guide the grip on from BEHIND the shaft, not on it) but after that first one was extremely smooth and I love them! Going to purchase a few more to complete the set!
