Can't believe I debated as hard as I did on buying these. Let me start by praising the customer service at Star. I made a mistake in the color I ordered. Emailed them and asked about a solution. They fixed my error and told me after that it was all done and shipped what I wanted. So thank you for that!
Like many others, I had used the similar style from a now defunct brand also based in AZ. These are superior. I installed them using tape and solvent on my irons. Used an extra 4" of masking tape only under the upper hand. The grip is larger than I expected in the lower hand. But the taper, or reduced taper, feels better than the Tour Star + 360 grip. I have played 2 rounds with these and they are incredibly comfortable. Have plans to replace the grips on my woods soon.

I have been golfing for 50 years and these STX are the best grip I've owned. Star Grip's only issue is that they last too long, bad problem for them but great for us.

Hreat product. Shipped fast, very durable grips. Basically two or three seasons—has a warranty for three years from purchase.

The size feels slightly bigger than other brands. They feel tacky. The real test has not yet arrived, summertime in SC. If they feel the same in August as they do in April, I will be very happy.

The STX grips are tacky with tapered grips. They feel good in the hand and it's easy to get a good grip. The best thing about Star Grips is the installation. no tape and solvent. It now takes longer to switch clubs and put the next one into the vise than it does to actually get the grip on the shaft. Super fast, easy installation plus you can take them on and off as much as you'd like. Be mindful of your air pressure., too much and you'll ballon the grip and it will stay stretched out and not return to shape, making it worthless.
