The Star Grip installation gun can be used with any air compressor to quickly install your Star grips without the need for any tape, solvent, or drying time. Less time, less mess, less waiting - just blow and go! Comes with a quick-connect installed so you can connect it to any air hose with a quick connect adapter.

PLEASE NOTE: This tool is designed to be used ONLY with Star grips. Star grips are made with a special material which is extremely tacky on the inside to ensure that they grip tightly to the shaft and never slip, while other brands of grips will gradually move/slip over time. It is also not meant to remove grips which were installed with tape & solvent. Any damage caused to the tool by use with other brands of grips will not be covered under warranty.

Overall it's good, however.....

This is a great tool for regular or even midsize grips. My issue was changing everything to jumbo grips. This gun will not work for the larger grips. If you are doing Jumbo or extra large, you will need to find something else. If you're doing regular or mid-size, this is well worth it.

Great tool!

This takes an easy touch. Don’t be in a hurry until you have used it a few times.
But after a few grips this gun works great!!! So much easier than solvent.
AND cleaner!!!
No double face tape needed with Star Grips. And I am finding out with Lamkin and Golf Pride as well.

Gets the Job Done

I purchased installation gun to use in installking midsize MCC+4 GolfPride grips. It worked perfectly and made installation way easier than using some of the multipurpose attachments you can buy at a Home Depo/Lowes. Did not try it on GolfPride jumbo size grip, but I think it would fit one of those as well. I did try it on a JumboMax XL grip and that grip was too large not just for the installation gun but also my hands. Star also included one of their standard size grips with the purchase and I really liked the grip, but it was a little small for me.

Love this product! So quick & easy to put grips on! You can adjust your grip, no problem!!! No mess at all! LOVE IT!!!
