Description

The Tour Star+ is a reduced-taper version of our Classic Wrap. Made from the same soft tacky rubber compound, this grip has a larger lower section - equal to 3-4 extra wraps of tape - which promotes reduced grip pressure in the lower hand. This results in less tension in the wrists and a more fluid swing. The additional thickness of this grip also provides the ultimate shock absorption which removes impact vibration to reduce stress on the hands and elbows. And just like all of our grips, the symmetrical 360° design which is free of logos or alignment marks is a great match for today's adjustable clubs.

Love this grip! Most comfortable and perfect amount of stick.

I had sidewinders on my whole set. But I missed the MCC style +4 feel in my lower hand so I put these on my irons. And I'm in love. Since switched to the sidewinders and also with tour 360, I don't wear a glove anymore. I don't get blisters after long summer range sessions. I always took my glove off for wedge work cause I like the feel, now every shot has that 'extra' feel of no glove!

Better than advertised

I’m very impressed. As someone who grips their own clubs, the old way isn’t very complicated. Part of the reason I decided to try Star grips was to see if the application using the air tool was as easy as the claims. Happy to report that it is super simple. The grips themselves are great and I would compare them to GP tour wrap but a little less tacky, which is a plus for me. They look great!!!

Love the feel.

Feel on these things are great. Wish I would have gotten white. The blue on these is a little bit different than pictured. I have been playing GP TW 2G for years, and these blow those out of the water on feel. Looks like I'll just have to get a white set now. As a PGA Professional and club builder, I love the fact that their is limited build work to make these non-tapered. A few of my students have already bought in. Thanks for making a solid product.
